WHEN THE MUSIC FADES

When the music fades
And the beautiful rhythm dies out
When we finally realized
That we are gradually reaching the end
The once anticipated journey
Is gradually reaching its finals

When it dawned on us
That the dawn is long gone
And we are closer to dusk
Dawn –Dusk; what a short time
And the events from the morn
Systematically flashes back on us
Causing our heart to “quake”
And our knees to wobble

What we eagerly anticipated earlier
Is fast turning to our worst nightmare
What we thought was not IT
Is fast becoming IT
What we thought were shadows
Now happened to be more real
Our ever trusted sense of judgment
Now becomes elusive and evasive

Ironic, how the most admired rose
Now shrieks in the pit of despair
How the once vigorous grass blade
Now twist itself in the oblivion of shame
The best of the best method
Incapable of restoring their glory
Some survive till its night
Some were plucked before blossoming
Others mysteriously met their waterloo
But one thing was common to all
They all met their their END

Some of us are in our dawn, others are past dawn, some in the noon, and others are coasting home. What becomes of us at the end would be the result of how we spent the day, what we gave ourselves to, how we spent our lives. When we eventually realized that what we gallivanted and bask about was supposed to be our SOLE RESPONSIBILITY. Let’s sum it up with these beautiful lyrics.

When it’s all been said and done
There is just one thing that matters
Did I do my best to live for truth?
Did I live my life for you?

When it’s all been said and done
All my treasures would mean nothing
Only what I have done for lord’s reward
Would stand the test of time
.
.
When it’s all been said and done
You are my life when life is gone
.
.
ALL IS WELL THAT ENDS WELL.

Man is like the grass that dies away and all his beauty fades like dying flowers. The grass withers and the flowers fade but the word of our God shall stand forever. Isaiah 40:6-8

For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. James 4:14
