DISCIPLINE

Image
George Washington said "Discipline is the soul of an army; it makes small number formidable, gives strength to the weak and brings esteem to all". Discipline is doing what is required of you at the required time to get the desired result; it is doing what is demanded to get what is expected. If discipline were to belong to a family tree, it would be a very close sibling to self-control; it entails the deliberate and conscious effort to channel one's energy to a particular cause in order to achieve a particular goal. Emerging successful in anything requires discipline; What champions do daily, losers do occasionally, it’s all embedded in discipline. Discipline is always the main ingredient in the story behind every glory. You may ride to life's pinnacle on eagles wing, but what keeps and sustain you is discipline.
